The 24-Hour Race
The 24-Hour Race is back on 2nd December at The Peak. Buy your
tickets now to be a part of the largest anti-slavery youth led movement
in Hong Kong. Every 24 hours 5,500 men, women and children
become victims of slavery, you can help to change that. Be the change

Box of Hope is a local charity which collects useful
items such as stationery and toiletries for distribution to
underprivileged children in Hong Kong and across Asia.
To celebrate their 10th anniversary this year, they are
running a box design competition for school children.
Deadline for entries is 10th November. Four winners
will receive a Bookazine stationery pack each and will
have the unique opportunity to hand deliver boxes to
children in Hong Kong. Email a photo of your box to

age, school andcontact information. Winners will be

Appeal
A night of traditional and
festive Christmas carols accompanied by a professional
choir and brass band is the perfect way to start the holiday
season. This concert will help to raise much-needed funds
for the Society for Community Organisation (SoCo), a local
charity that works to improve the lives and situations of cage
dwellers in Hong Kong. The event takes place at the Helena

Rescue’s (HKDR) biggest annual
fundraising event. All of the funds

walk starts at the Peak Galleria at 11am on 19th November and
finishes in Lan Kwai Fong where food, drinks and a variety of
booths and activities will entertain both two and four-legged
