Farmacy is hydroponically growing herbs,
micro greens, and edible flowers for
restaurants, hotels and home cooks. Their
new mobile farm takes up such little space
it can be done at home, in a restaurant,
school or even in the supermarket.
Growing and harvesting food so close
to where it will be consumed preserves
nutrients lost during transport. Hydroponic
farming actually uses 90 per cent less
water than traditional farming where
much of the water drains away.
