The Hong Kong Young Writers Awards, which
was created in 2010, is an annual competition
for aspiring writers and artists to showcase
their talents and creativity in fiction, non-fiction,
poetry and cover art. The awards encourage and
recognise excellence by students aged 6 to 18
years from a diverse range of backgrounds and
with varied learning abilities. This year’s theme is
“New Tales of the Greater Bay Area.” Entries must
be made through schools, rather than by individual
students, and registration is before 31 October.
Submission deadline is 17 January. For more
