Earth Day
Keith Ladzinski, award-winning National Geographic
photographer and filmmaker, has handpicked some of his best
pieces to showcase the beauty of our planet. Ladzinski’s images
remind us all of the fragility of natural habitats and the animals
that live within them, and encourage us to reflect and take steps
to preserve the beauty of Earth. The exhibition runs until 25 May.

Science Fest
This year’s Science Fest, which started last month and continues
through April, features a number of environmentally focused activities.
An Omnimax Show Amazon Adventure, suitable for children from
age three, is showing at the Hong Kong Space Museum. There are
guided visits to the Endangered Species Resource Centre and the
Green Education and Resource Centre. Here's a few highlights:
7-8 Apr Solar Kids two day camp. For children age six to
eight years.
14 Apr Citizen Science x Sustainable Development. In this
workshop participants promote sustainable development
through a science activity.
14 Apr Are We Really Leading an "Earth and Health" Friendly

The Conscious
Festival
The Conscious Festival by Green is
the New Black will be held at PMQ
in Central on the 20-22 April, to
coincide with Earth Day. The festival
aims to encourage the public to
take “little green steps” to “live more
consciously” and will feature talks, a
market featuring 70 mindful brands,
games, live music and interactive

Animal Magic
Ocean Park’s Animal Discovery Fest takes place from 24
March to 6 May with seven new “edutaining” workshops
for guests (aged three or above) to learn about the Park’s
land, air and sea animal ambassadors. A new “Get
Closer to the Animals” programme will also be launched
to connect guests with nature. Adding to the excitement,
all seven of the Park’s mascots will sing and dance as
they present Whiskers Express & the Miraculous Journey,
a new show at Whiskers Theatre that underscores the
importance of protecting the environment shared by
