Putting it all Together : PLAN SETUP PLAY
A good putting routine will help you eliminate distractions and focus on your next shot . To become a Gold Star Player , you must demonstrate the forms for your Plan , in sequence , with your coach .

PLAN
Mark the Ball
Place a marker directly behind the ball . You may now pick up the ball to clean it . Replace the ball exactly on the spot from where it was removed . Pick up the marker .
Reading the Green : Two Point Read
Stand or crouch behind the ball to read the slope of the putt . Then move to the lower side , about halfway between the ball and the hole to determine if the putt is uphill , downhill , or flat .
