Play Toad in the Hole !

Did you enjoy learning all about toad wizards and natterjacks in the latest issue of AQUILA magazine ? Well then , why not hop on over here and make this croak-ally awesome Toad in the Hole game !

Calculata ’ s Mission

No , this activity has nothing to do with the sausage-based British dinnertime dish . Toad in the Hole is actually a game . It ’ s traditionally played in very old pubs in East Sussex , England , but there are similar games played all over the world . Traditionally , the toad board / tabletop is made out of lead , so it ’ s nice and polished and slidey . We don ’ t have any lead in our craft box , so we ’ re going to make ours out of cardboard . Are you ready to take a leap into the unknown ? Let ’ s go !
