I was 14 years of age when I first started playing football. The game of football taught me so many things like friendship, hard work, and dedication, but the #1 thing that football has taught me is that no matter what happens never give up on your dreams. The person that I admire the most in the NFL today is Jimmy Graham. I admire Jimmy because we both got our official start at playing organized football in college. I was not allowed to play football in high school because my mom was too afraid of me getting hurt but of course that has never killed my dream of playing football at a higher level. Since I could not play football in high school, I did the closet thing to it which was wrestling. I went all the way to state for wrestling my senior year of high school. My family on my father’s side is comprised of a small but special football legacy. My father played as a tight end for Texas State. My brother Shaun McGee is an Outside Linebacker at UGA. My brother Travis Long Jr was a heavyweight wrestler at Iowa State University. I believe working with Coach Davis will help me get to that next level as a Tight end, and as long as I work hard I can reach the goals and dreams that I have always had for myself which is to play football and hear people shout out my name when I take the field.
