I fell in love with the game of football when I was 8-years-old. Since my first practice I have been on my grind and working hard to increase my knowledge and skill. Football has taught me how to be a leader in life and to not take anything for granted because anything can happen at any given time. I admire my mother. She’s a strong woman and her being strong made me want to be strong right b to by her side because she’s always on my side and supports me.

My name is Devonta Montgomery, and I attend Dutchtown High School. I first started playing football in college park when I was 8-years- old. Football has taught me more than just how to play this game. It has taught me that life is full of adversity and setbacks that we all must push through. My idol is Deion Sanders because he was a guy that made it okay to be different and play more than one sport.
