I first played football at the age of 4. I played kicker, and left guard. The only reason that I got an opportunity to play running back was because we were beating a team so bad that they had to let other kids run the ball due to the mercy rule. I ended up taking off for a 50 yard touchdown, and the rest was history. What pushes me is seeing my mom and brother screaming when I make a good play or when something goes right for my team.

Along the way, football has helped me realize that it doesn't matter how good you are because being a good player on a team that isn't going anywhere just makes you average. I. One football player that I admire is Richard Sherman because he made a way out of no way for himself. He wasn't supposed to make it. He was never seen as a top prospect, but he did what he had to do and never quit.I was recognized as the most valuable player during my freshman and senior year of high school, and I'm expected to win that same honor this year. I have also been fortunate enough to make the first all-region team last year, and I am looking to make the first all-region team again this year. Additionally I have recently been recognized as “back of the week” by the Falcons toward the end of my senior season. I broke all individual Dutchtown records on the defensive side of the ball. I hold the bench record for my school. I chose to put my individual achievements at the end because these mean nothing without knowing who I am or what I believe in.
