Im a 27 year woman who is passionate about changing the world. I love to dress up and try out different styles. I also love to cook but most of all I love to help and serve those around me. I am an endowarrior. What work do you do?
I am the founder of 3 organisations : As I Am Foundation; which is non-profit organisation that advocates for minority groups and empowers them by facilitating skills based training for them like jewellery making, small scale farming, beauty therapy and craft making. As I Am also provides menstrual health education and creates awareness surrounding reproductive issues.
Zimbabwe Endometriosis Support Group; a safe place for women who have endometriosis to share their stories and to get support; as well as the correct information about treatments and health care practitioners. The support group also creates awareness for endometriosis and shares resources to the general public. I also write menstrual health articles for the Sunday News quarterly. I have suffered from Endometriosis for 11 years and I strive to have less women suffer in silence. Endometriosis is a gynaecological condition that affects 1 in 10 women. It occurs when tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows onto other parts of the body outside the uterus. Symptoms include severe period pain, chronic pelvic pain, infertility and many others.
