Well, That’s how I been feeling lately as I observed my surroundings. I see so much division when it
Comes to relationships. But then I said to myself Whoa! Wait. When it comes to our ancestors everything is pretty much the same. The only thing is the loyalty back then was major back in the day. What I mean is decades ago most of our grandfathers cheated on our grandmothers. Have you ever heard that song called “ Papa Was A Rolling Stone, Where Ever He Laid His Hat Was His Home”? Well, That song basically explains it all. But with most of our grandmother’s, They knew there was infidelity in their marriage. But her main focus was taking care of their children and keeping the household going. To be honest I have no clue how they mentally was able to handle that and not loose their insanity, It’s bad enough back then that there was no contraception so basically most of our grandfathers was getting their wife pregnant and the mistress as well.
There was a lot of children that was born out of wedlock back in the day. I bet you that most of our ancestors had sisters and brothers somewhere and didn’t even know until someone pass in the family. Back then it was still a tremendous amount of loyalty, Even though I do not condone cheating. But our ancestors didn’t just throw in the towel and walked away from their marriage. That’s why you see that most of our grandparents been married for over 50 years and will have stories to tell you of all the hardships that they encountered throughout the years.
