National Construction Equipment Convention
(NCEC) is Australia’s first industry-owned
multidisciplinary, multi-event platform for the
civil construction and infrastructure sector being
held between 15 and 17 November 2018 at
Sydney Showground.
With the theme ‘Think Globally, Act Locally’, this
three-day event will give you the opportunity to
interact face-to-face with industry leaders. NCEC
will form a vibrant industry hub, working with major
associations to create an event for the industry, by
the industry, to conquer common challenges and
drive the sector forward together. With a focus on
infrastructure and cutting-edge technology, this is
the time to get involved in this fast-paced industry.
The Traffic Management Association of Australia
(TMAA), WorldSkills, and the Australian Pavement
Recycling and Stabilisation Association (AustStab)
have announced their partnership with the NCEC.
Brendan Woods, president of the TMAA which is
the peak body for the traffic management industry
in Australia, says they are proud to be affiliated with
the NCEC. “Our industry is crucial to both these
industries and we welcome the opportunity to
share in this showcase and experience the latest
innovation and creative technologies available to all
our industries.”

The exhibition will showcase more than 100 exhibitors including major players in the
construction and civils sectors.
Graham Hennessy, CEO of AustStab, said,

opportunity for industry collaboration as well

What to expect
The exhibition will showcase more than
100 exhibitors including major brands such
as Caterpillar, Toyota Material Handling
Australia, Clark Equipment (Bobcat &
Doosan), Atlas Heavy Engineering, and
Komatsu, among others.
It will also feature the latest in heavy
equipment, a tech zone comprising Worksite
of the Future, Jobs of the Future, and
Infrastructure of the Future, as well as an
outdoor demonstration pit where attendees
can interact with new equipment.
