Carmaky has signed a new agreement with Australia-based firm Transmin, as the company’ s official agency for the African region. Under the agreement, Carmaky will take on capital equipment sales, servicing, and supply of parts for the complete Transmin range. The agreement includes Transmin original equipment lines, including Boomer rock breakers, belt feeders, heavy-duty bin isolation gates, ball mill lime slakers, lime processing plants, flocculant plants and most notably, Transmin’ s specialist range of low profile feeders( LPFs). Transmin’ s LPF is an original hybrid feeder delivering the advantages of both belt and apron feeders, plus additional distinctive benefits over conventional feeder technology.
The LPF has the unique ability to change direction using a bend transition. A change of direction from horizontal to inclined can be achieved without the requirement of a second machine, therefore creating improved space utilisation and flexibility of plant layout, and eliminating transition points between conveyors and reducing capital expenditure.
LPF machine capacities vary according to application, although rates of 6 000tph and above are readily available.
The LPF is available in a range of standard belt widths from 1.2m to 40m and is the only feeder to feature ProEDGE: Pre-supplied hot vulcanised belt edging with 10 times the strength of conventional glue-based edging. The vastly increased bond strength significantly reduces the risk of belt failure, and with it, costly repair and maintenance work.
A hotel under construction next to Terminal 2 in Heathrow Airport has received a Linden Comansa tower crane. The 21LC750 comes with maximum load capacity of 50t and was supplied by rental company City Lifting, Linden Comansa’ s UK dealer.
Started in May 2017, the Arora Group is building a new 14-storey hotel next to Terminal 2, also known as The Queen’ s Terminal. An essential part of the works is being undertaken by a 21LC750 tower crane.
To lift the heavy prefab modules of up to 13 200kg, City Lifting installed a special model of the 21LC750 crane, with maximum load capacity of 50t instead of the regular 48t. This increase in load capacity is possible thanks to a new and lighter trolley / hook set and the use of compact wire rope, which improves not only the maximum capacity, but the entire load diagram. This design was applied to the 21LC750 after a large tower crane that will be launched soon.
The 21LC750 in Heathrow was erected with a freestanding height of 51.3m and jib length of 55m. The configuration supports a jib-end load of 16 200kg, able to lift up to 17 280kg when using the PowerLift system, which comes as standard in all Linden Comansa flat-top cranes.
CASE wheel loaders: 60 years manufacturing

The W series grew Series models were developed through the 1960s and 1970s, under a new streamlined, crossfunctional, concurrent process including the mammoth 15-ton W26, introduced in 1968. It was that became the guide for the CASE’ s first articulated loader and rest of the company as it moved the largest wheel loader offered into the 21st century. Major innovations in productivity, serviceability, and operator comfort continued, and this product line represented the first heavy earthmoving equipment to deploy a Tier 4 Interim solution without a particulate filter, using selective catalytic reduction( SCR) emissions technology, with the F Series. Several new models were added to the 21 Series, including a new line of compact wheel loaders.
The latest wheel loader offering from CASE— the G Series— spans 141 – 347 horsepower, with bucket payload ranging from 3.9 to 10.2 tonnes and bucket volume from 1.9 to 5.5m 3. In the short time since their introduction, the G-Series has won several awards, including the prestigious Good Design™ Award in the Industrial Category from the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies, and top new product recognitions from industry publications.
CASE celebrated the 60th anniversary of its wheel loaders at the Intermat 2018 show and produced a wheel loader model bearing commemorative livery specially developed for this year’ s exhibitions, which includes a‘ 60 Years’ logo embroidered on the headrest and applied as a decal on the bucket, as well as an eagle tattoo on the hood.
