Some of these are highlighted as follows: • Members shall at all times conduct their business activities with the utmost good faith and integrity. • A member shall offer advice and service only in areas where it is proficient to render such advice and service. • Members will employ and assign to each piece of plant, with only operators who are currently familiar and qualified with that piece of plant. • All plant and equipment shall be maintained to a satisfactory standard and will not be allowed to operate on site unless all necessary safety standards have been met. www.equipmentandhire.co.za • • • Members shall carry liability insurance to provide adequate and reasonable protection to the public against liability arising from their plant and or operation. Statements, by or on behalf of members, whether in advertisements, or otherwise, must be factual and must not contain misleading or extravagant claims. In hiring out equipment, members will present a truthful representation of the equipment, its capabilities and the service being offered.
