PJ: So when did you start Unicorn Planner?

JB: I started Unicorn Planner this past February.

PJ: Wow, so not that long ago! You've already established quite a following. What prompted you to go from planner user to business owner?

JB: I got back into using a planner last summer. I started homeschooling our then five-year-old and needed something to create lesson plans in. I started searching for one and found the Erin Condren Teacher Planner.

I bought that and fell in love with it. So, of course, I needed the Erin Condren Life Planner. After I got that, I started falling down the planner rabbit hole. I needed washi, cute pens, tons of stickers, etc. After months of planning, I decided I just needed to open a business that catered to something I loved. And that's how Unicorn Planner happened.

PJ: What is your own personal favorite product in your shop?

JB: Oh! That's a hard one. Even though my husband doesn't agree with me, I always keep one of everything so I can use it. I make sure I love the product before I sell it. Right now my favorite item would have to be the macaron pouches. I think they are adorable and mine goes with me everywhere I go.

PJ: I love that one too. What is your top seller?

JB: My top seller would have to be our washi wallets. I can't keep me in stock!
