Increase Attendee
Interaction
W
e surveyed many Attendees, Speakers and
Exhibitors to find out what would make them
more comfortable with interacting during the event.
These are some of the suggestions….
Ÿ More time between workshops. Most events only
allow for ten minutes to get from the first
workshop to the next. This makes it difficult for
Attendees to chat with one another and start
building relationships.
Ÿ Yoga time. One Speaker has suggested a mobile
Yoga studio or Yoga room where Attendees can
take a break from the hustle and bustle of the event
and do some Yoga. This is a great time to chat and
make new friends as well.
Ÿ Ideas board. Have a cork board in the back of the
Ÿ Attendee Pal program. Asking on the registration

form if the Attendee would like to be matched up

Ÿ Picture booth. Having a backdrop or photo booths
throughout the venue can give attendees an
opportunity to capture moments that can be shared
on social media after the event comes to an end.
Ÿ Networking event. Some Attendees who are not
crazy about happy hour could benefit from a
morning coffee event to network, or even a special
lunch event hosted by a Sponsor.
