Vol. 4 | Issue 1 | Winter 2019
Dear Readers,
For many, the beginning of the calendar year is a great time to commit to making significant changes. That being said, I
think we all know that, in business, change is actually an ongoing phenomenon. Rea is no exception. In the fall edition of
Plain & Simple, Kyle Stemple announced that he has taken on the role of president of Rea’s East Central Ohio Region. As
a result, I am now the firm’s director of manufacturing services – a role formerly held by Kyle and one that I am excited to
take on. I look forward to introducing you to some fantastic new services, talented new team members and exciting new
opportunities – all designed to help you drive continued growth in your business.
Over the coming months, you will hear from some of our other team leaders in the opening section of this newsletter.
Additionally, we plan to publish articles from area business leaders. If you would like to be featured for an initiative that
has been successful in your business, or if you have some tips or insight you would like to share with the community,
give me a call.
As for this edition of Plain & Simple, after having conversations with many area business leaders, we’ve identified several
topics that we wanted to explore further to help you overcome some of the challenges you might face. Within these pages,
our team members have taken the time to address taxes, record retention, key performance indicators, leadership goals,
estate planning and space concerns. I think you will find these articles very helpful.
You are welcome to reach out to me if you have any questions about this edition of the newsletter. Or, if you want to
follow up with our authors, I encourage you to reach out to them personally. We have included their contact information
under each article.
Wishing you a wonderful 2019.
Sincerely,
Dustin Raber, CPA, CMP
