Plain and Simple: Bright Business Insights Summer 2017
Bright Business Insights
Vol. 2 | Issue 2 | Summer 2017
Dear Readers –
With the first half of the year behind us, now is a good time to reflect on your business’s progress and to identify goals
that will help you close 2017 out strong. To that end, the team here at Rea has put together some great articles designed
to help you do just that.
From maximizing your company’s cash flow to managing succession planning issues and a variety of other topics in
between, when it came time to choose which topics to cover in this issue of Plain & Simple, all we had to do was review
the feedback many of you so graciously provided. We are sincerely grateful to everybody who took the time to complete
the survey in our last issue, and we want you to know that we are listening to what you have to say.
Join Us For Manufacturing Education Day
Many of you expressed interest in attending a one-day seminar that would cover a range of critical business-related topics
specific to manufacturers. We are proud to announce that the details for our first-ever Manufacturing Education Day
seminar, held in conjunction with National Manufacturing Day 2017, have been put in place and I would like to formally
invite you to join us.
Manufacturing Education Day will take place:
Friday, Oct. 6, 2017 • 7 a.m.-1 p.m. • at Berlin Farmstead, 4757 TR 366, Millersburg
The event is free to attend and breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Over the course of the day, you will learn about:
Strategic Planning | Kyle Stemple & Dustin Raber, Rea & Associates
Lean Six Sigma | Chris Liebtag, Rea & Associates
Cash Flow Management | Jeff Semple, FocusCFO
The Impact of Nexus and State & Local Taxes on Your Business | Scott Zielaskiewicz, Rea & Associates
Each session will dive into many of the unique challenges often faced by businesses operating in the manufacturing
industry while uncovering opportunities for sustainable business growth. Session topics were specifically chosen for
their potential to deliver the results you are looking for as a business owner while helping you become more effective in
your day-to-day efforts. Additionally, presenters were chosen for their unparalleled expertise in each of the four subject
areas. In short, this is an educational opportunity you’re not going to want to miss.
We hope you will join us for this exciting educational opportunity. To RSVP, complete the postage-paid postcard en-
closed in this edition of Plain & Simple, and drop it into any mailbox.
In the meantime, if you would like to learn more about the Manufacturing Education Day event or if you have business-
related concerns you would like to address, feel free to reach out to me, or another member of the Rea team.
