PLAIN AND SIMPLE Bright Business Insights Vol. 1 | Issue 4 | Fall 2016 P L A I N LY S TAT E D Since the last issue of Plain & Simple, we have received an overwhelming response in support of CEO peer groups. And we’re excited to launch these groups in the coming months! As I explained previously, these peer groups are an opportunity for you to meet up with other business leaders in an effort to share and exchange ideas and best practices. We foresee creating two initial CEO peer groups – one for leaders of businesses that have revenue of $10 million or more. The other group will be for leaders whose companies have revenue of less than $10 million. If this is something you’re interested in participating in, and you haven’t contacted us already, it’s not too late. While we’re still in the development stages of these groups, here’s what we know so far: • • • • The groups will be fairly small (6-8 business owners) to provide a more personable and effective experience for all involved. Direct competitors will not be in the same peer groups. A modest membership fee will be required for all participants. This fee will cover the costs of refreshments, materials, space rental and other expenses. Groups will initially meet on a quarterly basis, with the possibility of increasing the meeting frequency to monthly. For those of you interested in learning more about these peer groups, we will host an informational session on Tuesday, Dec. 13, at The Wallhouse Hotel located at 2870 Cove Lane, Walnut Creek, OH 44687.
