MONTHLY SCHOOL PROGRESS MONITORING

Each month, the Regional Academic Team will continue to look for ways that your school is progressing towards meeting the Academic Priorities for Success indicators. The PLA Model is embedded in the Academic Priorities for Success rubric. The BOY Instructional Review sets the baseline for your School Quality Rating (SQR). Each month, we expect to see the SQR score increase incrementally. Regional teams work in collaboration with leadership teams each month to improve indicators that are not quite effective. This process is similar to having coaching coversations with your teachers. It is feedback for improvement. It is not punitive.

By the end of each month, your Regional team should meet with your leadership team to go over the ratings. This process should be conversational. The conversation should take place prior to the last day of each month.

Regional team members will look for evidence to add to the Coaching Cycle to support your continued success.

A final EOY Instructional Review will happen at the end of the year to identify your final SQR score.

This entire process should feel collaborative and supportive. It is an opportunity to understand how to successfully implement The PLA Model.
