Think about zones and coverage! How do you have staff positioned throughout the day to be visible in high traffic areas? For example, assign staff restroom checks throughout the day to check stalls. Assign classrooms restroom breaks in the master schedule to eliminate extra trips throught the day. Have scholars sign out and back in if leaving the classroom. Only allow scholars out of the classroom in pairs.

Have teachers at threshold to ensure appropriate supervision for both the hallway and the classroom.

Establish the expectation at recess that staff will be posted at different zones so that they can see the entire playground and inside all equipment.
