Teachers work with small groups of scholars during Tier 2 and Tier 3 time. Students participate in independent structures while teachers work with groups.
FOLLOW THE PACING GUIDE FOR Tier 1 INSTRUCTION
Tier 1, whole group instruction (60-65 minutes) is for all scholars, using the Eureka Squared program and teaching on grade-level. This is NOT the time to catch scholars up. It is okay for scholars to struggle and grapple with their learning during tier 1. Stay true to this time frame. This is often a time when new learning happens.
Tiers 2 and 3 are the times you can slow down, catch scholars up, and close learning gaps.
