How do you feel about constant threats from North Korea?

It is definitely something to worry about everyday. There is new information put out about North Korea and the US. It is important to just stay knowledgeable with what is going on. All we can do as defenders of our country is be ready to respond.

What are some differences from military police to a regular police?

Well some differences are that we usually can only arrest military personnel on military ground, we can detain regular citizens but from there we would have to give them to the local police. Other than that, you don’t really see MPs in local areas, we typically leave that up to the local police.

Are there different laws and different rules that you may have to follow as an MP than being a regular police?

There are some different laws, majority of it is the same. Regular civilians go under the constitution while the military has its own thing called the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) it is a different set of laws and articles that military personnel has to follow, does not apply to regular citizens.

Do you think America is ready for war?

We have been a strong nation when it comes to war, our might would be just as strong as before. Especially with all this new technology, the way we handle war has evolved.

Do you think MPs are underpaid cops?

Not necessarily because if we were to be deployed we would be paid about the same as a regular policeman, at the end of the day you need to remember we are in the army, regardless of our MOS.

At the end of your contract, would you sign another contract or an extension?

I think it would have to wait and just see how it all goes out, if we ended up in war then I probably will and if not then I might just want to become a regular policeman, only time can tell right now.
