Crime will alway happen, whether it is a crime involving in shooting, stabbing, burning, whatever, Crime will never stop. It is a good idea to own and carry something on you for self defense, in this case a firearm, it would stop almost anything that comes and attack you. Wouldn't you want to feel safe? Wouldn’t you want to feel like you are protected in some way? Take the john hendricks case i talked about earlier for instance, he’s got a gun to protect himself from possible harm or criminals that might want to mess with him. Even if you think the chances of being attacked are so small that it won't affect you in someway, don't fool yourself to having your guard down, always be prepared, bad guys could strike anywhere and at anytime. Another example to why we need less gun control not n only america but possibly nationwide is again for self-defense, this time, take paris for example, When a shooting occurred in Paris on November 13, 2015, Terrorists slaughtered at least 130 people and left many more injured. That was a day of tragedy, it was one of the biggest terrorist attacks that ever happened in paris. Now imagine if the civilians on the streets have guns, or people in apartments have guns, There could have possibly been less deaths, someone could have probably put a stop the the gunmen before they go out and do mass killing, or it would have made the terrorist
