Please label all personal belongings, including jackets, hats, gloves, backpacks, and extra clothing.
What to Bring to School
Children should bring:
• A backpack
• A seasonally appropriate change of clothes
• A family photograph
Additional classroom-specific information will be shared by teachers.
Meals and Nutrition
Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are provided daily in accordance with USDA guidelines.
Children participate in mealtime routines that promote healthy eating habits, independence, communication, and social development.
For the safety of all children, outside food is not permitted unless approved through a documented medical accommodation.

Birthdays and Celebrations
At SELC, we honor and celebrate each child in ways that are meaningful, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate.
Families are welcome to work with teachers to recognize birthdays through activities such as:
• Sharing a favorite book
• Reading a story with the class
• Sharing information about a child ' s name or family traditions
• Participating in a special classroom activity
Outside food celebrations are limited to once per month per classroom. Please coordinate with your classroom teacher.
