Dear Future Panthers,
We are the ones who have been here. We have occupied the desks and walked the halls. We have stayed up late
studying and preparing for our futures with diligence and dedication. Each day, we lead our school with a contagious
Panther pride that we hope stretches far and wide beyond our campus. Our time here at PJP has been filled with team
practices and rehearsals. We have crammed for tests, attended dances, and “filled the hill” together. We have raised
money to help find a cure for childhood cancer at THON, brain cancer at Cupid’s Cranium and breast cancer at DIG PINK.
Each Thanksgiving, we have fed more than 100 families, and we have provided gifts and financial support to numerous
children’s charities at Christmas. We have worshipped together at school masses and strengthened our faith in God,
ourselves, and each other at Kairos. We have made friends that will inevitably last a lifetime. PJP is our second home,
and these have been the greatest years of our lives.
Next May, our names will be announced at graduation and our future beyond PJP will await us. It will be your turn to
wear blue and gold Panther jerseys, command the auditorium with melodious notes and graceful movements and lead
service initiatives. You will pray together, cheer at pep rallies, gather for dance photos and make new friends for life.
YOU are the Panthers of TOMORROW.
To assume the awesome responsibility of a PJP student is not only about being part of our legacy, it is about creating
your own legacy. We made our mark on PJP. Tomorrow is the opportunity for future Panthers to author their own
personal stories. We can’t wait to read what your future holds for yourself and our amazing school. We will be watching
and cheering you on with every success.
As seniors, we encourage you to take our places in these storied halls, classrooms, athletic fields and performance stages.
If you choose to attend PJP, you will undoubtedly be choosing the BEST high school in the region. We hope it will become
your second home, the way it has been for us. We know you will make us proud. As the student leaders of Pope John
Paul II High School, we pass the torch onto you to make an incredible and lasting impact on the PJP of TOMORROW.
We wish you all the best.
Sincerely,
