JOBURG’S TOUGHEST 21K
This is an extremely tough route that features three big climbs as you run over Northcliff Hill.
Hope your legs and lungs are ready for this!

he first tester comes early in the race, from 1km to 3km, and it sets the tone for what is to follow. Then between the 9km and
10km marks comes the second climb, which may reduce you to a walk. The third climb follows shortly on its heels, between
13km and 14km, but once over that, the rest of the race is largely downhill, so enjoy the respite from climbing, but take care not
to go too hard, as or your quads may decide more walking is needed! This is not a course to chase after a PB, it is a hill workout of
note, which is why it is so popular with runners training for the big hills of the big ultras.
