ROUTE INFORMATION
Although you are free to run any 21km route we encourage you to challenge yourself on our iconic Pirates route . If you choose to run from Pirates Club please note : No mask / buff , no entry to club premises . The club gates will be open weekdays and weekends between 6am and 8pm . Make sure you have printed the map , or have loaded the route on your GPS watch or phone . The route will be discreetly marked but we expect every runner to follow the correct route outlined . There will be no marshals on the route – practice general pedestrian safety when running or when you cross busy intersections . There will be teardrop banners on the weekends to mark the start of the race on Cruden Bay Road alongside the park and the finish which will be on the Pirates rugby fields . We will be opening the side gate on weekends which allows access from the park , to the ramp which leads to the finish on the rugby fields . ( There will be arrows to show you where to run ) Unfortunately , this gate will be closed during the week , we will not be held responsible if your route is slightly longer than the course . Please run around the perimeter of the fields and not across the fields , especially if there are sports activities taking place .

Race pack and medal collections
If you registered in time for a race pack ( containing a t-shirt and a medal ) or a medal , either of these can be collected from Pirates Club in Greenside after your race any Saturday or Sunday in February between 8 and 10am . Please check the confirmation of your race entry in the accompanying email which will stipulate whether you qualify for a race pack ( which includes a t-shirt and a medal ) or a medal only .
