For Morah Rivkah: essential
adjective | es · sen · tial | \ i-’ sen( t)-shəl \ Absolutely necessary; indispensible: Morah Rivkah is essential for Lamplighters’ success.
All systems are comprised of varied components working in tandem to realize an end. Like gears in a machine, interlocked, each cog performs a unique duty, allowing the structure to accomplish its task. The lumbering truck, powerfully tilling and then sowing the soil, the men who harvest and ship the produce, hawking store clerks, bored baggers, the car ride home, the pot, salt, fire, oven( whew!), all necessary in the journey to provide vital sustenance and nourishment.
All systems need a leader to set direction and tone, a conductor to define the end it hopes to realize. Like programmers expertly plotting a machine’ s course, the pilot guides the system’ s disparate parts toward accomplishing its task. The wizened farmer deftly wrangling his tractor, the field’ s manager, commandeering employers, excited shoppers, drivers, cooks( whew!), all lead the way in providing vital sustenance and nourishment.
Some leaders remain aloof. They’ ll chart a course but let the current do the rest, permitting the system to drift gingerly through the river called reality. Others are intimate. Those do not simply sketch an objective and saunter away like an absent parent; instead, they tend to their flocks, caring for each detail, working to heal each blemish. It is to this second sort that Morah Rivkah belongs.
From the depths of our souls and bottoms of our hearts we thank you for your leadership. We are grateful because of your dedication, thankful for your care and indebted because of your guidance.
May you continue to serve as a source of inspiration and great ideas for the rest of your days.
