heart” (Rashi’s explanation as to why the word “camped” is singular),” and
we will realize this complete wholeness again in the realization of geulah.
As Chassidus explains, the service of making community out of a multitude
involves revealing the “heart,” the “pintele Yid,” which every Jew possesses.
Schools must not be seen as institutions--nets with which to capture and house
disparate elements needing to be bound. It is only when we express a complete
vision, a collective from our many within our organizations and communities,
that we mirror our most revered hope...a time when we will reveal that we have
always been a complete picture of unity below the surface.
Tonight, as we celebrate this chassidic concept of pinteleh, it not only reveals
both our individual and collective power to bring about the redemption, but
also calls upon us to recommit to our vision for our children’s education-
-the one that defines what we have done, are doing and will do to bring
Moshiach.
Thank you for your continued support for the work we do every day on
behalf of our children and ourselves,
Warmly,
Rivkah and Moshe Schack
