Wrapped With
A Bow
BY CHRISTINA MURRAY
You’ve got your outfit chosen for the holiday party,
but what are you going to do with your hair to make it
stand out above all the other done before styles? Why
not top off your ‘do with a lovely bow! Bonus points if
it’s Christmas themed.
You can bring the holiday cheer to any hairstyle by
simply adding a bow. Your luscious locks will be the
talk of the party with this look.
Here are our three favourite bow looks, but as always,
feel free to make it your own:
The Sock Bun:
?
For this look, you’ll need a sock bun base (or a
sock that you’ve cut the toes off of) and some hairspray.
?
Put your hair into a pony tail and then use the
sock bun base to form your sock bun by putting your
hair through the hole at the tip and then role it down.
?
Your hair should tuck under the base as you roll.
Secure with an elastic. Use bobby pins and hairspray to
tame any flyaways as this is a pretty sleek look.
?
Put a large bow in the bottom of your bun at the
center. For the most dramatic effect, do this in the front,
if you like your look to be a bit more subtle, move the
bow to the back.
The Half-Up Do:
?
This is your typical half up, ha ????????????????)????????????????????????????????????????????)???????+??$)????????????????????????????????????+??$)?????????????????????????????????)?????????????????????????????????????????)Q???M????M????+??$)Q?????????????????????)?????????????????)??????????????????????????????????)?????(??((
