HannaH anD amy The reception was wild in the best possible way! Our friend came from Bristol and span some excellent tunes and we partied until the small hours. There was quite a lot of pop punk and pop on the dancefloor and a highlight was one of our friends ‘trying to crowdsurf the bride’ which actually was just her barrelling Hannah to the floor. Everyone was pretty tipsy by the end, I’m told, but we sensibly had our carriage arriving at midnight shortly before it turned into a pumpkin – although I’m also told we didn’t want to get in it. E veryone had a ball. People said it was one of the best weddings they’d been to. There were lots of tears and lots of laughter. I think most people were delighted our wedding was in London where most of them live! But seriously, everyone had so much praise for the creative touches and how lovely the venue looked. Hannah designed the invites herself, as well as the table names, the table centrepieces, all of the signage and lots of little flourishes like candles in jars and ramekins. It looked fantastic – and it wasn’t just me who thought it! So I would advise anyone wanting a spectacular wedding to marry someone as creative as my wife. But they have to find their own!
