THERE WAS SPECIAL
INVOLVEMENT – AND LOTS
OF HELP – FROM BOTH SIDES
OF OUR FAMILY
represented a different fairy-tale – one of our favourites being
the Moana table, where we used a fishbowl with sand as the
base, a coconut in the centre, the stone necklace from the film
and a small version of the Maui fishhook draped across it.
We had a Disney drop box designed to use as a frame, so
that our guests could sign mini Mickey Mouse heads and drop
them in to create a picture. We also had menus created in the
shape of bell jars from Beauty and the Beast, a Disney seating
plan, and children’s menus in the shape of Mickey Mouse
heads along with goody bags to keep them entertained.
O
ur favours were easy to choose as we both
wanted to raise awareness for two charities.
We had WWF pin badges kindly provided by
the charity to encourage our guests to donate,
and wrist bands from Cancer Research UK.
All our guests absolutely loved the wedding, from young to
old, and we had compliments on the venue, the theme, and
our dresses. One of the best comments was that the venue
was like being at the Beauty and the Beast castle –
