Some strategies will have an
icon in the “Strategy Type” box. These strategies
could potentially be eligible for follow‐on funding from the Office of Economic
Adjustment (OEA) as part of the JLUS Implementation Phase. While funding may be
available to support certain types of strategies, the stakeholder that will lead the
implementation will have to apply for and be awarded the funding by OEA. Designation
via this icon in the JLUS Implementation Plan is a suggestion, and discretion for funding
applicability of each strategy will be determined by the OEA. OEA funding can be
provided to communities and local government organizations, but not to the AZARNG or
DoD entities.
