Welcome to Roll In To July 2017!
Joseph Pilates wrote two books in his time. One
of them outlined what his movement method
was and included a set of 34 exercises. These
are called the traditional pilates mat exercises
and one of the foundation exercises is called
“The Rollup”.
Now, rolling through the spine can be a
challenge for many people, for many reasons!!!
But once you master it, your body will become
capable of not only performing your daily tasks
with ease but also without causing injuries or
issues,
In the sequence of 34 exercises in Joseph’s
book, The Rollup is number 2! It is a preparation
exercise for the rest of the more advanced
exercises.
In July, we’ll be focusing on how you can master
The Rollup and then progress it to the next level
of mastery.
Make sure you check out the exercise of the
month video and practice at home every day.
