They ae very high in antioxidants which help to fight of the effects of harmful molecules called free radicals. The blueberry skin is where all the goodness of these antioxidants are. But like most foods these days, the benefits of the amazing blueberry can be diminished significantly by how it’s produced. Organic is always going to be of a higher quality and so are wild blueberries as they have a much thicker skin, so contain a much higher amount of antioxidants.
