Blueberries
We all know that blueberries are good for you, but have you ever wondered why? They ae very
high in antioxidants which help to fight of the effects of harmful molecules called free radicals.
The blueberry skin is where all the goodness of these antioxidants are. But like most foods these
days, the benefits of the amazing blueberry can be diminished significantly by how it’s
produced. Organic is always going to be of a higher quality and so are wild blueberries as they
have a much thicker skin, so contain a much higher amount of antioxidants. But unfortunately
they are hard to find in Australia as they are grown in the very cold climate of North America
and Alaska. Below are some blueberry recipes to get your day off to a healthy start!
