On Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the season we got after it working on fundamentals. The first team offense and defense went against each other. There was no holding back. It made both sides better. You had no choice but to get better. Pigskin Roundup: During your playing days the catchphrase “Who ‘Dat?” was the big thing in the Alexandria community. There were signs all over and it seemed every Cub fan said “Who ‘Dat?” Tell us about that phrase. Tony Young: That came from the chorus of a rap song back in 1981 or ’82. It actually started at Alexandria basketball games. We would have the whole gym saying it and it transferred over to football- “Who ‘Dat gonna beat them Cubs? Who ‘Dat? Who ‘Dat?” I still have old newspapers and hats with that phrase on it. When I talk to people today they don’t know T
