2015 Rewind: Pell City finished 4-7 in 2015. The Panthers
fell 24-10 to eventual state champion Spanish Fort in the first
round of the playoffs.
Key Losses: Linebacker Elijah Shepard was the leader of
the defensive side of the ball last season. The Panthers will
also miss the anchor of the offensive line in graduated three-year starter Dylan Wiley.
Players to Watch: Several new faces will
take the field this fall as only three offensive
starters return and five on the defensive
side of the football. Etheredge is counting
on several young men to bring excitement
to re-vamped Pete Rich Stadium.
Kent Foster, Tyler Estell, Chris Lynch,
Hudson Hughes, Kinsman Trammell,
Austin Carlton, Austin Stephens, Hunter
Creighton, Cole McGee, Logan Tucker,
Emon Roberson, Daniel Crane, Nick
Brownlee and Seth Kent are all expected to
provide leadership to the Panthers this fall.

2016 Roundup: Ethridge expects a tough
region schedule in 2016. The Panthers will
host Southside-Gadsden, A.P. Brewer and
Oxford and face road trips to Cullman,
Albertville and Fort Payne. The non-region
schedule brings Anniston to the revamped
Pete Rich Stadium and on the road to
Childersburg, Gardendale and Helena.
Did You Know? After 10 seasons at Leeds, Coach Keith Etheredge made the
move to take over the program at PCHS. Etheredge had led the Green Wave to
six State Championship appearances in 10 seasons, winning four of the six.
