There are eight seniors on the Raiders squad this season, led by the big man in the middle, the center Chase Craven. According to Coach Nix, Craven has been a proven leader for the team during the spring. Behind the center is another senior leader in Elijah Borders, who will be in the starting quarterback position, and Josh Preston, senior running back and linebacker on the defensive side of the ball. Sophomore Ethan Borders will also see some time in the running back position. The Raider defense will be lead in the 2015 season by senior defensive tackle Kasey Cochran and junior linebacker Cantor Knight and Thomas Emery. Some of the positions are filled, but Coach Nix says there are, “a lot of young kids fighting for spots.” SCHEDULE COACH JONATHAN NIX... “This Region is loaded from top to bottom and each week you have to work to get better” 8/28 Ranburne.................
