Golf carts designed for on-road use or modified to meet requirements of the low- or medium-speed vehicle and registered as such in the visitor’ s home state are allowed to operate on the streets where the posted speed limit is 35 miles per hour or less. Golf carts are not allowed to operate on sidewalks.

Recycling
Don’ t despair when you don’ t find recycling bins in Pigeon Forge. We truly care about protecting our environment, so to encourage everyone to recycle, we’ ve made it easy. Sevier County has the highest recycling rate in the entire state of Tennessee and is home to a state-ofthe-art recycling center, one that sorts recyclable materials from collected trash. Sixty percent of that material is turned into compost for county residential and commercial use.
