REPORTER Life can be daunting with thankless jobs , endless bills and loveless marriages ... Throw in our country ’ s loose gun laws , well it ’ s no wonder why suicide is at an all time high . But what happens when you survive the attempt ? Is it possible to move on ? KTNJ is outside the home of former university professor-turned small town psychologist , Dr . Eli Mento , to answer that question . And here he is now , back from the hospital . Let ’ s have a chat--

INT . CAR - SAME Sophie parks . Eli takes in the unwanted guests .
SOPHIE Want me to turn around ?
ELI No . They won ’ t leave until they get a good look . Society loves a train wreck and I want to be home .
Okay .
SOPHIE
They exit--
EXT . HOUSE
--and make their way towards the front door . The reporter charges forward :
REPORTER ( O . S .) Dr . Mento ! Dr . Mento ! Can I have a moment of your time ?!?!
He crosses over the lawn and stops at the door , inches from the father-daughter team with his microphone out like a weapon .
No response .
Sophie turns the key and pulls her father inside , but struggles .
