SOPHIE I understand . Triage-style .
( a beat ) I appreciate you taking such good care of my father . What should we do next ? How do we move forward ?
DR . MORRIS Our resident psychologist will evaluate Eli in the morning , but I can tell you this - it won ’ t be easy . He ’ ll need to cope with his disfigurement - Eli ’ s identity is forever changed , including how the world sees him .
SOPHIE My father is also a psychologist .
DR . MORRIS It ’ s just hospital protocol and truthfully for his own safety . If Dr . Remington approves , we can prepare discharge paperwork .
SOPHIE Thank you .
