I swoon over puppies of all breeds. Who can resist those sweet little faces, the boundless energy, and their tails that never stop wagging? Yes puppies are a lot of work. Yes, they require a lot of time. Puppies are definitely worth all the trouble, especially when you come home from a long day of work and receive their unconditional love.( and a few kisses— I mean licks— too)
As our dog Mary Lou ages I’ ve been thinking about how rewarding a relationship with an old dog is. I believe one of the reasons we’ re so attached to our old dogs is because they remind us a little of ourselves.
