I am her daughter. I ' ve always been proud to be her daughter. This past year has really shown me just what she ' s made of. I ' ve never been more proud to be her daughter.

Mom has cancer, diagnosed one year ago. She is a warrior. She ' s gone to every oncologist ' s visit, endured every round of chemotherapy, and taken every set of tests with grace. She has stayed positive and faced this terrible disease head on. She is handling it so much better than I am.

When we ' re together Mom and I try very hard to keep things as normal as possible. We don ' t talk much about
