Dutchman’ s Breeches or Dutchman’ s Britches as Granny called them have blooms of white and yellow. They’ re also called Dog Tooth Violets since they resemble a dog’ s tooth. A lot of the wildflowers found in the woods would grow close to trees. These Dutchman’ s Britches sometimes could be found a little farther away from the trees and would grow in large groups or clumps.
