I love seeing what people take pictures of. It doesn't have to be the most amazing shot technically. Some of the most meaningful images to people are ones that aren't 'perfect'.
I believe that the more you practice and ask questions, the better you will be at taking photographs. So the purpose of taking and sharing the pictures with everyone is so that we can all improve our picture taking. :)
I started asking followers on my Facebook Page if they wanted to share some of the photos they take with the rest of us. The way we started out was just sharing an image or two of whatever we photographed that weekend. Then we got a bit more structured and I started posting a theme just before the weekend and by about Monday, you would post your images for everyone to see. It's fun to see what things people are photographing, and how everyone interprets the theme. Now, we've been taking turns selecting the theme. :)
Things started getting a bit crowded on the wall of my business page, so I created a Facebook Group in order to keep things better organized. The Group also isn't quite so public, so not quite as intimidating for some people who might be a bit more shy to share their pictures.
The next couple of pages are of pictures I've posted for our weekend assignments in the month of May.
