AIMING FOR THE BULLS-EYE When I first started out, I thought it was best to center everything. After all, when you look through the viewfinder, there’s literally a bulls-eye type overlay on the screen. Sometimes this can be effective, like when shooting sports and other fast subjects. When you are looking to craft an artistic composition however, try using one of the outer focus points instead. This will allow you to place your subject elsewhere in the frame, giving you a completely different look and feel. PicsArt Monthly |41
