Marina admits that her precious nine-monthold, Liza, has undeniably changed her life. When
Liza came along, Marina began tapping into her
own creativity. She gained the courage to start
singing and thinking: “Who should I be ashamed
of if I sing out loud? The walls? My daughter,
the perso n to whom my voice is dearest in the
world?”
Since Marina became a mother, she also started
admiring scenes and objects that she had never
taken notice of before, seeing the world through
her daughter’s eyes. While on walks with Liza,
she would return with photos taken with her
camera phone.

At first, she used the app for collages and to
draw a few photos for Liza’s first album. Then,
two months ago, she decided to check out our
contests. She views them as “not so much a
struggle for the winning spot, but a precious
treasure box from different corners of the earth.”
