ARCHITECTURE
In order to remain relevant to new audiences, many old stodgy institutions have remodeled and
redesigned many of their exhibitions. They have assembled teams that specialize in interactive
displays to engage smart, active, short-attention span minds. These displays can be fun.
Shooting inside museums
can be extremely timeconsuming. The formal tours
seem interminable. If the loss
of daylight is too much of a
sacrifice, the exteriors are
usually extremely photogenic.
The good news is buildings
don’t move. So you can take
your time. Study them in
different weather conditions or
return at different times of day
for the best light. The bad news
is buildings don’t move.
