One student (18 years old, blonde and blue-eyed) barely ate anything. She said her mother only cooked meat and potatoes and she only ate hamburgers and french fries. This seemed unacceptable to me and I told her just the two of us would be returning to lunch the next day. I tried to get her to eat anything on the menu. I explained that she made the biggest, most courageous decision in her young life by going to school to become a photographer. She was opening her mind to a lifetime of new ideas. It would be a pity if she was closed to one of the most basic. 8 | PicsArt Monthly
